Sara Broderick Cooper is a graphic designer focused on clean design, creativity, and clear messaging.
With a bachelor’s in graphic design and a master’s degree in business with a concentration in marketing, she knows not only what looks good, but how to get clients the results that they need. Her work ranges from package design to print catalogs and even designing website UX. As a classically trained designer, for her, it all starts with a sketch–pen and paper, done by hand.
Growing up she found inspiration from everything from the colorful designs on the backs of cereal boxes to sculpture and photography classes. After briefly working in screen printing, she spent over a decade of working at Southern Season, creating private labels for specialty food and gifts, designing and producing the catalog, and eventually serving as its marketing director. Now as a freelance graphic designer and founder of The Design Booth, she also enjoys working with other nonprofits and businesses in the community. Expanding to work with more clients has allowed her to produce beautiful print and digital campaigns, implement successful email marketing strategies, design engaging websites, serve as a project manager for multifaceted projects, and collaborate with some of the talented individuals in The Design Booth.
When she’s not creating for work-related projects, Sara loves going to movies with wifey, exploring all the walking/hiking paths in and around Raleigh with their Frenchie dog-son Parker, and cooking and trying new recipes.
